Short Description:
A protest-inspired piece asserting dignity and equity for immigrant communities. On a surface prepared by my mother and me, directional marks and melting forms evoke movement, collective marching, and demands for visibility. Against a warm terracotta ground, a portrait of a child stands alone, representing children as young as 7 who must defend themselves in immigration court.
