Painting of the east-facing mountain ridge of Salt Lake City, an exploration of the separations and beauties of urban developments. Just as country borders separate people, I wanted to express how urban life is divided by roadways. Nature and light belong to us all, yet are bordered by the concrete monuments we leave behind, sometimes without consideration for those who are affected by their paths.
