Art Work Statement: 

Generational Wealth reflects sacrifice, labor, and migration through a sand-acrylic surface inspired by generational concrete patterns, honoring immigrant construction labor that shaped my education. Overlaid is my practiced oil painting, depicting the last image of my late paternal grandmother, who passed the day I was born. My grandmother and oldest brother are illuminated within my father's silhouette. Copper-filled oil lines evoke cherished memories, resisting erosion from walls, pavement, and minds.
