Short Description:
Blending the Nahuatl root teotl (circular energy) with indigenous Mesoamerican patterns of the sun, space-time, and corn, this piece includes a fragmentary representation of my family. The meditative pattern emerges through light and interaction. Painted on a handmade acrylic-polymer sheet composed of acrylic, sand, and corn masa.
