Short Description:
“From Here and There” explores the dual identity of being ni de aquí ni de allá. Layers of form and texture split, merge, and overlap, mirroring life between cultures, languages, and expectations in undocumented communities. The work features meditative, Mesoamerican-inspired sigils from Utah and Mexico, as well as heart-rate electrical patterns that transform through their interactions.
