Exhibition Statement
Many kinds of work -- emotional, physical, spiritual -- have shaped Utah throughout its history. This exhibition celebrates this labor through paintings, textiles, found objects, and historical materials and honors it as a powerful expression of love.
The artworks in this gallery highlight the sacrifices of immigrant women, mothers, caretakers, and other workers. Their contributions, often underpaid, unseen, or undervalued, continue to uphold Utah's communities and enrich our cultural landscape.
